On Thursday, May 10th, Barbara Foster and Deborah Wilson from the Small Business Administration District Office in Omaha, were in North Platte to present Katrina Frey, owner of Heavenly Creations, LLC. with the Congressional District III Women in Business Champion award.  Katrina was nominated by Jason Tuller, Center Director for the North Platte Office of the Nebraska Business Development Center.

This award is given to those who promote small business, including volunteering time and services to small business interests and groups, advocating the cause of small business in the legislative or policy process.  Champions may or may not be small business owners.

Heavenly Creations also received the Champion of Small Business Regional Award from the Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC) on Friday, May 18^th during a breakfast celebrating NBDC’s 30^th year anniversary.
